This pure indica cannabis strain comes from Kholm, in northern Afghanistan—a region renowned for its tradition of cultivating robust and resinous genetics. It is characterized by vigorous and compact growth, with a bushy structure typical of traditional indicas. The leaves are initially very broad and dark green, turning yellowish towards the end of the cycle. They are thin, with purple tinges appearing on both the leaves and calyx tips during flowering, especially in cool climates or late in the cycle. The buds are dense and extremely resinous, with large, prominent, pointed calyxes that reveal a rich layer of trichomes. Its visual appeal is as striking as its aroma.

The aromatic profile is intense and complex, dominated by earthy notes of fresh chamomile, complemented by a sweet, lactic, soft cheese-like scent and a bright, fruity citrus undertone that adds freshness. On the palate, the flavor is fragrant, citrusy, and long-lasting, leaving a clean yet penetrating aftertaste that lingers. The effect is powerfully narcotic and full-bodied—ideal for deep relaxation, pain relief, or states of complete rest. Initially, a short, mild psychoactive high provides a brief sense of stimulation, which soon gives way to intense physical and mental sedation. Perfect for nighttime use, it is especially effective for managing insomnia, anxiety, or for disconnecting completely from one’s surroundings. Due to its exceptionally high resin production, it is also highly valued in traditional hash production.
