Preserved for years as a true genetic treasure, Malawi Gold represents the purest essence of African sativas, offering an experience that combines potency, elegance, and authenticity.

Under ideal conditions, this plant can reach up to 2.5 metres in height (8 ft), displaying an elegant, conical, and perfectly symmetrical structure, similar to a majestic tropical Araucaria heterophylla (Norfolk Island pine or house pine). Its growth is vigorous and stable, with a prolonged vegetative phase (14–18 weeks) and abundant flowering (13–18 weeks) culminating in airy, resin-covered flowers. The large, dense calyxes are adorned with dark reddish stigmas that reflect its potent genetic heritage. It features thin, highly serrated leaves, medium-length internodes, and long colas brimming with aromatic, resinous flowers. The aroma is simply irresistible: an explosion of green mango, honey, sweet wood, and exotic fruits, with a resinous touch that makes it unmistakable. On the palate, its woody, resinous flavour, with nuances of turpentine and ripe mango, leaves a deep, elegant, and lasting impression.

The effect is its hallmark: a clean, bright, and enveloping cerebral trip that awakens creativity, euphoria, and social connection, without a trace of physical heaviness. In high doses, it can border on the psychedelic, providing a spiritual and expansive experience worthy of the purest sativas of the African continent.

Resistant, noble, and versatile, Malawi Gold adapts strongly from 500 to 2,700 metres above sea level (1600 to 8800 ft), showing remarkable resistance to pests, fungi, and diseases. In our observations, we have identified up to six exceptional phenotypes, each with its own aromatic personality and potency, but all with the same golden essence that makes it legendary.
