Emerging from the untamed heart of the Republic of the Congo, this remarkable landrace is a true genetic gem from the Sibiti district in the Lekoumou region. Congo Sibiti stands as a rare and captivating expression of equatorial sativa. Unlike many varieties from the region, often characterised by slow development, this strain defies expectations with its striking vigour and notably early maturation, an unusual trait for its lineage.
Its structure is defined by rapid growth and compact internodal spacing, supported by reddish-purple stems and elegant foliage composed of fine, serrated leaflets. The vegetative phase typically lasts around 12 weeks, followed by a flowering period of 12 to 14 weeks, impressively efficient for a pure sativa of this calibre. As it ripens, the plant produces distinctive foxtail-shaped inflorescences, featuring large, airy calyxes that echo its wild, ancestral origins.
The aromatic profile delivers an exotic and memorable sensory journey. Lush notes of ripe mango form the foundation, layered with unexpected but intriguing hints of sulphur and camphor, finishing with a refined, woody nuance that lingers on the palate.
Its effects are vibrant, clear, and highly functional. Expect an “electric” psychoactive experience that sharpens focus and sparks creativity. Ideal for daytime use, it acts as a natural Energy booster, like a strong cup of coffee, lifting the mind, banishing fatigue, and fuelling motivation without the heaviness often associated with modern commercial varieties.
