Monkey Balls is a pure bred cannabis strain, selected from Afghan genetics (Deep Chunk). It is a 100% indica variety valued for its stability, massive resin production, and classic old-school narcotic effect. The THC content is moderately high, and its actual potency is greater than expected due to the “entourage effect” of its terpenes, which intensify sedation.
Its pure indica nature dictates a predominantly body experience, causing an immediate release of muscle tension. It is highly narcotic, prone to leaving the user in a “couch-lock” state. Ideal for those suffering from insomnia, chronic pain, and acute stress, as well as being a potent appetite stimulant.
The aroma of Monkey Balls is “old school,” dense, dark, and complex, moving away from modern sweet profiles; the scent of artisanal hashish and weed predominates, along with earth and damp pine humus. When the buds are opened and ground, they release notes of fuel, roasted coffee, and hints of bitter cocoa. The flavour on the palate is robust, with touches of sandalwood, leather, and hot spices like black pepper.
Monkey Balls is compact and bushy. It has very broad leaves, thick stems, and short internodal spacing. The vegetative stage goes from 6 to 10 weeks, and flowering takes between 8 and 9 weeks. Trichome production is exceptional, covering not only the flowers but also the adjacent leaves, making it a preferred choice for high-purity extractions. It is highly resistant, tolerant of pests and temperature fluctuations.
