The origin of the name Foi Thong ( ฝอยทอง )  is because it reminds the growers the traditional Thai dish called Foi Thong which means Gold Threads. The pistils will be golden yellow and also orange hence the name Foi Thong.

*** COMMENT FROM THE GROWER ***

Soft silk smooth smoke. Mango aftertaste. After smoking it goes up to the top of the head and then down to the midriff. It’s not overwhelming but it’s smooth and causes no coughing.

Some people use it for work because it stimulates the thinking, the imagination, seeing ideas well, having a clear picture of a situation.
